Unity believes children are expressions of Divine Life and endeavors to inspire all children at Unity to know and live this Truth.

To help children develop a relationship with unconditional Divine Love.

To provide child-centered, child-led lessons that give children a space to share and express themselves and make personal connections to Spirit.

To hold space for children and families to grow, create and connect with Unity’s vibrant spiritual community.

Sunday Gatherings for Children and Youth

Unity’s youth program welcomes ages 0-18 and meets every Sunday at 11:30 am in the Community Room or outside at the picnic area under the redwood trees, near the Children’s Garden, depending on the time of year.

Children learn spiritual lessons through arts & crafts, hands-on activities, stories, discussion and group play.

Unity Kids Summer Camp

Unity Kids Summer Camp is a week-long, day camp held at the Unity campus in Walnut Creek.
This is a magical week of fun and connection. Unity’s camp focuses on exploring spirituality through art, yoga, gardening, crafts, and water play in the afternoons.

Fundraisers and Seasonal Events

Exciting events occur throughout the year for Unity’s children and youth including the Easter Egg Hunt, involvement in the metaphysical telling of the Christmas story at the Christmas Eve Candle Lighting service with an occasional children’s choir. Unity children take pride in raising their own funds through creative projects. They paint flower pots and plant flowers for the annual Mother’s Day Plant Sale and grow their own pumpkins in their garden, then decorate and sell them at Halloween. Prior social events have included ice skating and camping.
